Mrs. Doris Annell O’Neal Doss, 76, of West Point, passed away on Jan. 12, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Doss was born in LaGrange on Oct. 28, 1943, to the late Gus C. O’Neal and Dorothy Louise Moore O’Neal.

She worked for many years at Milliken as an inspector and attended the First Assembly of God in LaGrange. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Danny Joseph Doss; sons, Jerry Benjamin “Ben” Thomas and Gus Scott Thomas and his wife Tina; brother, Fred O’Neal and his wife Ann; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at 2 p.m., at the Shadowlawn Cemetery. At other times, the family may be reached at 4131 Bartley Road.
