Two LaGrange men were arrested Sunday after LaGrange police officers responded to a burglary in progress. 

According to a news release from the LPD, officers responded to 209 N. Dawson St., due to a burglary in progress and were given a description of the suspects by the witness who called 911. 

When they arrived in the area, officers set up a perimeter and began looking for suspects. The news release said the officers located William Brand, 31, and Earnest Fincher, 32, in the area, and that they matched the description given by the witness. 

After further investigation, the two men were charged with burglary and taken to the Troup County Jail.
