Mr. Roderick Olando Boyd, Jr. passed away Monday.

He was born Feb. 7, 1994, in LaGrange, Georgia, to Karen Lakes Kelley and the late, Roderick Boyd, Sr.

He united with Leete Hill UM Church, graduated from Troup High School and was employed by Great Wolf Lodge.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Karen Lakes Kelley; grandmother, Ms. Countis Lakes; sister, Adrian (OJ) Joof; aunts:  Mrs. Phyllis Stephens, Mrs. Shirley (Chuck) Boaz, Ms. Denise Reed, and Ms. Shantras Lakes; special uncle and aunt, Jade and Rita Kelley; Mr. Bernice Render; nieces and nephews; special friends; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Leete Hill UM Church.

The family will be at their home at 209 Boston Drive and 302 Jordan’s Way.

The excellent care of Mr. Boyd is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
