Mrs. Johnnie Mae Billingslea passed away Saturday.
She was born Sept.11, 1939, in Troup County to the late Pearl Davidson and James Gilliam.
She united with New Harmony CME Church and was educated at Union School and Ethel Kight. She was employed by West Point Pepperell and became a Home Day Care Provider.
Survivors include her daughter, Quinder (David) Heard; son, Grady (Teresa) Billingslea, all of Lanett, Alabama; one stepson, Kenneth Jackson; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony (Dorothy) Gilliam and
Joe Gilliam, both of West Point; a very special niece, and a host of god-children, step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Harmony CME Church.
The family will be at their home at 3189 GA Highway 18.
The excellent care of Mrs. Billingslea is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
