The LaGrange Grangers will make their rain-delayed season debut on Friday.

LaGrange’s baseball team was supposed to begin its season on Thursday at Griffin High, but the game was postponed because of poor field conditions.

The two teams will instead play on Friday at 5:55 p.m., and the location has been changed to Granger Park.

LaGrange will continue its season with a doubleheader on Saturday at Hardaway beginning at 1 p.m.

Last season, LaGrange finished third in Region 5-AAAA before beating Stephens County in the first round of the state playoffs.

LaGrange’s season ended with a second-round loss to Blessed Trinity.
