Trailing 1-0, Troup scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead.

Caleb McCurry led off with a base hit, and Brett Haynes reached on a one-out walk before Reed Morris loaded the bases with a single.

That brought Devon Murphy to the plate, and he doubled to right field to plate two runs and give the Tigers a 2-1 lead.

Morris had two of Troup’s six hits, and Grayson Garner, Caleb McCurry, Tre Mosley and Murphy each had one hit.

In Saturday’s first game, Marietta scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally for a 3-2 win over Troup.
