Taco Bell robbed at gunpoint, suspect arrested
A man who allegedly robbed Taco Bell at gunpoint Friday night was arrested in Smith Station, Alabama, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.
Travis Barnes has been charged with armed robbery. According to the press release, an employee working the drive-through window had been robbed at gunpoint, and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was seen driving a Chevrolet Tahoe, which was captured on Taco Bell surveillance cameras.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted in locating the vehicle at a residence in Smith Station.
