LaGrange woman arrested for stabbing live-in partner

On Tuesday afternoon, the LaGrange Police Department arrested a 48-year-old woman for stabbing the man she was living with.
According to LPD Sgt. William Nelson, Tammy Tarwater was in a domestic dispute with a 48-year-old man. When the man tried to leave their home, she allegedly followed him outside to his car and stabbed him in the leg.
Officers arrived on the scene and found Tarwater at the residence. According to a press release from LPD, officers discovered at that time the victim was on his way to the emergency room. The victim had a stab wound to his right upper leg and received treatment from WellStar West Georgia Medical Center and was released.
