The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an incident from Saturday on Edgewood Avenue where a vehicle allegedly spun out another vehicle and then shot a firearm toward it.

According to a news release from the police department, officers responded to a call of shots fired. Officers located a red Toyota Camry in the roadway with extensive front end damage and evidence that a shooting had occurred.

Detectives met with two victims, who said they were traveling in the same vehicle when they attempted to pass the red Camry. The victims told police as they made the pass, the other vehicle accelerated and deliberately hit their vehicle causing them to run into a ditch.

The victims said after the vehicle ran them into the ditch,  the occupants of the red Camry began shooting a firearm at their vehicle.

The suspects fled from the red vehicle before police arrived. No injuries were reported.
