Troup County has four confirmed cases of coronavirus, according to new information from District 4 Public Health released Saturday morning.

DPH had previously announced two cases in Troup County, so the new count includes two new cases. District 4 now has 37 total cases across its 12 counties.

Patient information, including gender and age, has not been released.

The LaGrange Daily News had previously reported three confirmed cases, which was information released by Emory pulmonology physician Dr. Kenneth Horlander on Friday night. 

New statewide numbers will be released at noon and 7 p.m. today.
