Severe weather is likely to impact western Georgia overnight, including LaGrange and Troup County.

Troup County remains under a moderate risk for severe weather, a four out of five on the National Weather Service’s scale. Numerous tornado warnings have been issued for Mississippi and Alabama already and a potentially dangerous situation tornado watch has been issued for many central Alabama counties.

No counties in Georgia are currently under a tornado watch.
