Chris Cooper, 35, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Chris was born May 8, 1984 in Oscoda, Michigan.  He was a member of The Pentecostal Church of LaGrange and was self-employed as a fugitive recovery agent.

Survivors include his son, Carson Arnall Cooper; mother and step father, Connie “DeeDee” and Charles “Bill” Lambert; father and step mother, Randy and Brenda Cooper; brother, Randy Michael Cooper; nephew, Brandon Cooper; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will have a visitation time scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. 

Due to the COVID-19 Health Crisis the funeral home will only allow the state mandated 10 people at a time to view Chris. 

The family will have a private graveside service following the scheduled visitation time.

The family will host a Celebration of Life memorial service on May 8, 2020 (Chris’ birthday), at The Pentecostal Church of LaGrange.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to John B. Amos Cancer Center, 1831 5th Avenue, Columbus, GA 31904.
