Man arrested for selling meth at motel on New Franklin Road

A 59-year-old man was arrested at the Town and Country Motel on New Franklin Road for the possession and sale of methamphetamine.
According to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department, William Early Padilla was arrested for selling meth on two separate occasions Padilla to undercover informants.
At the time of his arrest his room was also searched and he was found to be in possession of approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine, packaging materials and other items commonly associated with the resale of illegal narcotics.
According to LPD, this was the end of an investigation whereas the Special Investigations Unit had received information that a white male identified as Padilla was selling methamphetamine on the grounds of the Town and Country Motel.
Padilla was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, sale of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.
