Mr. Jackey Lee “Jack” Gesselman, 72, of LaGrange, passed away on April 17, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Gesselman was born on May 25, 1947, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. His parents, Otis and Eva Mae Boynton preceded him in death as well as a half-brother, Wendy Gesselman.  Mr. Gesselamn worked for the city of LaGrange Fire Department where he served as an Investigator and Fire Marshal for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines.  Survivors include his daughters, Tongia Gesselman and Tina Gesselman; mother of his children and long-time friend, Rose Gesselman; brother, Michael Gesselman; half-brothers, Bruce Gesselman and George Gesselman; extended family and friends.  Due to the health crisis in our country, a memorial service with military honors remembering the life of Mr. Gesselman will be held at a later date.
