Fifth person in Troup County dies from COVID-19

A fifth person in Troup County has died due to complications related to COVID-19, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
The fifth death was a 71-year-old female with a chronic health condition, according to GDPH.
The previous four deaths were all females, ages 37, 61, 66 and 82. Three of them had chronic conditions, according to GDPH.
There have been 160 confirmed cases in Troup County, and there have been 44 hospitalizations, according to GDPH.
