Rosa Pearl Dawson-Slaughter

1952-2020

Mrs. Rosa Marie Pearl Dawson-Slaughter passed away Tuesday at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

She was born Dec. 16, 1952, to the late Mary Rose Dallas and James Aubsy.

She was baptized as a faithful and dedicated Witness of Jehovah.

She attended Harrison High School, served as an LPN in South Fulton County, Georgia; where she met her special friend for over 20 years Sharon Jenkins.

Survivors include her husband, John Slaughter; four chidlren:  Valrico Dawson, Solomon Dawson III, Santanya Dawson and Alesha Dawson; nineteen grandchildren; five sisters: Sharlene Wheat, Bonita Johnson, Janice Trammell, Cora and Sharon Slaughter; four brothers: Abe Billingslea, Charles Slaughter, William Slaughter,  and Charles Trammell; aunt, Francis McQueen; and a host of relatives and friends.

The viewing will be on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.

The family will be at the home of her daughter Valrico Dawson at 123 Webster Street.
