Titus Avalon Merideth passed away Tuesday.
He was born Jan. 27, 1962, in Troup County, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. Andy Partridge and the late, Mrs. Emma Kate Partridge; and was reared by his grandmother, the late Mrs. Arevlia Merideth.
He united with New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, graduated from Troup County Comprehensive High School, and was employed with Milliken and Company’s Duncan Stewart Company for 28 years as a Mechanical Technician.
Survivors include five children: Ms. Shanae Parham, Mr. Marcus Parham, Mr. Tristan Ross, Ms. Betty Parham, and Ms. Ashleigh Jackson; five grandchildren; his father, Mr. Andy Partridge; sister and brother-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. James and Phyllis Woods; sister, Mrs. Jannett (Ronnie) Lewis; a special aunt, Ms. Eva M. Johnson, all of LaGrange, Georgia; two uncles, Rev. Dr. Oscar (Beadie) Merideth, Atlanta, Georgia; and Ruben O’Neal Merideth, Stockbridge, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; fiancé and caregiver, Ms. Laura Williams. The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The excellent care of Mr. Merideth is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
