Graveside services for Michael David Hyatt, 57, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 11 a.m. EST at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Georgia, with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hyatt passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his residence.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sherry Houle (Bill) of Waverly Hall, Georgia, and Tabatha Ginther (Andrew) of Columbus, Georgia; two sons, Michael Hyatt of LaGrange, and Kendall Hyatt (Alison Inoh) of Smyrna, Georgia; six grandchildren, Henry Ginther and Hattie Ginther, both of Columbus, Georgia, Julie Striblin, Micah Striblin, Jacob Houle, and Brenna Houle, all of Waverly Hall, Georgia; one sister, Betty Caswell (Donald) of Franklin, Georgia; and one brother, Larry Hyatt (Pam) of Roanoke, Alabama.

A Georgia native, Mr. Hyatt was born on Nov. 5, 1962, the son of Riley and Rosie Smith Hyatt.  He worked as a plant superintendent at LaGrange Molding.  Mr. Hyatt was preceded in death by his parents. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral  home from 6 to 8 p.m. EST on Friday, June 26, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
