The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Quality Inn, located at 110 Jameson Drive, on Wednesday morning at 8:10 a.m.

The incident occurred in room 212, according to the LPD. According to the press release, the LPD determined that Shannon Scott fired and struck a 39-year-old. The victim was flown out to an Atlanta area hospital with what’s believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Detective Duke with the LPD.

Scott fled the scene in a Chevy truck with Alabama plates, and warrants have been issued for his arrest. Scott is described as a 42-year-old white male.
