Georgia Ree Gates

1961-2020

Georgia Ree Gates passed away Saturday.

She was born Jan. 23, 1961, to the late George and Ibbie Partridge Gates in LaGrange, Georgia.

She graduated from LaGrange High School, Class of 1979; Kerr Business College in 1983; and was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Ree was employed by LaGrange Internal Medicine for 26 years.

 Survivors include her brother, Henry Frank (Cynthia McDowell) Gates; two sisters:  Dairan G. Person and Christine G. (Minister Kendall) Gholston; one nephew, eight nieces, three great nephews, four great nieces; special friends and family. The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The Public Viewing will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
