Ms. Susie Mae Palmer Ward passed away Tuesday.

She was born April 23, 1937, daughter of the late Mr. Robert Palmer, Sr. and Ms. Winnie McFarland.

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church, and retired from Rose’s.

Survivors include six children:  Kenneth (Almega) Palmer, Rose (Bruce) Alford, Cassandra (Harold) Jones, Candy (Pastor Anthony) Shealey, Kim (Joseph) Simmons, Josie Daniels, and Wendy Brewer; grandchildren; onegreat-grandchild; special adopted family of the late Mr. Gary Rutledge, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, in Cannonville and the surrounding communities.

The service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul C.M.E Church.

The family will be at their home at 720  John Lovelace Road.

The excellent care of Ms. Ward is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
