LaGrange was clinging to a 1-0 lead when it broke things open with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Mya Lawton helped lead the offensive effort with two hits, including a double during the decisive fifth inning.

Lindsay Cofield also had two hits with a double, and Alora Vetsavong had two hits as well.

Chaple Butler and Aya Shuford each had a hit, Tyterria Godwin walked twice and had a sacrifice bunt, Faith Horton walked twice, Mikayla Speer walked and was hit by a pitch, and McKenzie Rhodes had a sacrifice bunt.
