Marie Harvey Rutledge

1937-2020

Mrs. Marie Harvey Rutledge (Memama) passed away on Sept. 7, 2020, at her residence after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Rutledge was born on July 25, 1937, in and was originally a resident of LaGrange. Her parents, Joe Allen Harvey and Elvie Estelle Ward Harvey preceded her in death as well as her brothers, Dwight Harvey, “Little” Joe Harvey and Vance Harvey.

Survivors include her husband of over 65 years, Charles Aaron Rutledge; son, Charles Anthony Rutledge (Michelle); daughter, Debra Roberts; grandchildren, Jessica Lewis Melson (Michael), Jill Pierce (Keith), Jennifer Lewis McKinnely (Marcus) and Logan Charles Rutledge; great grandchildren, Madeline Allen and Makaila Trowell; nieces, nephews and extended family. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Shadowlawn Cemetery, Hillview East with Pastor David Adamson officiating.
