There are three teams that have yet to lose a Region 2-AAAA game.

After this week, at least one member of that club will be tagged with its first region loss.

Of the three teams with perfect region records, two of them will play on Friday when LaGrange hosts Carver.

The other team without a region loss, Hardaway, will play Columbus on Friday.

After this week, most of the teams will be at the halfway points of their region schedules.

Of the nine teams in the region, four of them will qualify for the state playoffs, with the top-two finishers hosting a state game.

Here are the region standings and this week’s games:
