Mrs. Rachel Mildred Clark Dodgen, 87, of Five Points, Alabama, passed away on Nov. 10, 2020.  Mrs. Dodgen was born on March 17, 1933 in Opelika, Alabama, to the late Houston Clark and Levis Ray Clark.  She worked for the Troup County Board of Education as a Teacher’s Aid.  Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Jimmy Clay Dodgen; children, Loren C. Dodgen and his wife Ann and Tam Hill and her husband Emmett; sisters, Brenda Schrader and Dot Hornsby; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; extended family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Rev. Roger Luke and Rev. Mike Watson officiating.  Interment will follow at State Line Christian Church.  Family will received friends on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 506 Hill Street, LaGrange, (706) 884-5626.
