A man who was shot last week on McGregor Street has died from his injuries, and the LaGrange Police Department is looking for a suspect on murder charges.

The LPD said Friday that the victim, 26-year-old Derek Davis, died from his injuries at Piedmont Columbus Medical Center. The incident occurred on Nov. 29 in the area of 208 McGregor Street. According to LPD, three suspects jumped out of a wooded area and opened fire on Davis and another person. Davis was found with a gunshot wound and was lying on the ground.

The LPD is asking anyone with information about Shell’s location to contact the LaGrange Police Department at (706) 883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
