A Herbalife smoothie shop officially opened its doors about a month ago and has had a revolving door since.

Store operator, Brana Booth, said she decided to open a store in LaGrange after working for one in Auburn that was successful.

“I graduated from Auburn University where I studied physical education, and I’ve always been about being healthy,” Booth said. “Looking for a job wasn’t that easy due to COVID, so my boyfriend and I decided to open this location. I helped my friend run Opelika Nutrition for about two months or so.”

Booth said her and her boyfriend live in Valley, Alabama, and were looking for somewhere close to open up a location.

The two found a spot at 2170 West Point Road off of Avery Drive.

“We are our own distributors for Herbalife,” Booth said. “I feel more of a benefit from Herbalife. There’s more variety and a ton of flavors to choose from. There are plenty of options too. It doesn’t stop at healthy, it goes to hair, skin and body. I even use the shampoo and conditioners. It’s got everything.”

Booth said they are already in the process of opening another location on the other side of town near the LaGrange Mall.

“It’s going to be the same thing, just a new name,” Booth said. “We are hoping that our location can pull the hospital employees since we are so close to them. I’m hoping I can benefit them more. I just really would love to grow in this community.”

Booth said opening another location on the opposite side of town would make it easier for anyone who lives in that area.

“I have had so many people reach out to me and have already made friendships and I love it,” Booth said.

“I can’t imagine how it’s gonna be on the other side of town where there are more people. There’s more traffic over there as well. I am really excited.”

The shop offers teas, specialty drinks, kids drinks and shakes.

It is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday noon to 3 p.m.

“We hope we will have the new location open right after Christmas,” Booth said. “We know people are starting the new year and want to start off healthy and strong. The new spot will give people that take CrossFit classes over there easier access to the shop as well.”
