JOHNNIE LOU MITCHELL

1938-2020

Mrs. Johnnie Lou Mitchell passed away Saturday. 

She was born Nov. 1, 1938 in Manchester, Meriwether County, Georgia to the late John Gamble and Lucille Howard.

Survivors include her sons: Horace Cofield, Jr., James Mitchell, Jr., Ronnie Mitchell, Derrick Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell, Willie James Terry, two daughters: Angelia Harris and Linda (Casey) Dean; several grandchildren; sisters: Stella Williams and Doris Carreker, both of Manchester, Georgia; brother, Walter Lee William, Luthersville, Georgia; sisters in law: Inez Mitchell and Carrie Mitchell; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family received friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-7 p.m.  The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.

The excellent care of Mrs. Mitchell is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
