The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a shooting on Adamson Street that resulted in one person being killed and another in critical condition.

According to a LPD press release, officers arrived at 1708 Adamson Street on Friday night in reference to a person shot. When officers arrived, they located Monquarious Wilder, 20, of LaGrange, who had been shot and was deceased at the scene.

While on scene, officers were called to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in reference another person who had been shot. Once at WGMC, officers learned that another person had also been shot at 1708 Adamson Street as well. That person is 26 years old and is also from LaGrange.

That person was flown by helicopter to a metro Atlanta hospital and is listed in critical condition.
