Mrs. Ozell Fay Norris Ellerbee, 95, of Monroe, Georgia, formerly of Thomaston, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Monroe, Georgia.

Mrs. Ellerbee was born July 11, 1925, in Randolph County, to the late Leburs and Fannie Mae Scroggins Strain.  She retired from Troup County High School as a cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Curtis Ellerbee, Clyde Norris, and Jadie Folds; and daughter, Jackie Byrd.  Survivors are her daughter, Brenda (Mike) Stone of Monroe, Georgia; grandchildren, Tod Wright, Steve Wright, Robby Wright, and Sherry Wright Fuller; 8 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ellerbee will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Georgia.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, from 11-12 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.

The family requests that masks be worn when attending these services.
