The City of LaGrange will be closed for business on New Year’s Day Friday.

Communications manager Katie Van Schoor said that trash is not normally picked up on Fridays so residents won’t have any garbage delays.

On Wednesday, the city picked up several additional garbage bins throughout the community to help with overflow trash during the holiday season.

All Troup County Convenience Centers will be closed for business on Friday in observance of the New Year’s Day Holiday.

All Convenience Centers will reopen and return to normal schedules on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. For more information and normal hours of operation, visit http://troupcountyga.org/Sanitation/Convenience_Centers.

Customers with C&C Sanitation with a normal pick up day on Friday will have their trash picked up on Saturday.
