The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Jr Food Mart on Whitesville Road.

Officers responded to Jr Food Mart, located at 1616 Whitesville Road, at approximately 3:08 a.m. During the investigation, officers were told that an unknown black male subject entered the location, brandished a knife and demanded money from the cashier. After taking cash from the register, the subject fled on foot.

The male subject was described as thin, about 5-foot-10 or 6-foot-tall wearing a black hoodie, tan pants and a blue disposable face mask over his nose and mouth.
