Few details are known, but a man has been struck and killed on Interstate 85 at the Georgia 54 interchange.

Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley confirmed she is on the scene.

The Georgia Department of Transportation posted on Facebook that there was a heavy police presence at that location that has blocked all lanes. GDOT estimated the time of clearance as 11:45 p.m.
