Man killed on Wright Street, another airlifted for gunshot wound

A man was shot and killed on 115 Wright Street on Sunday evening, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.
The victim was identified as Deandre Rashad Cotton, 27. Cotton was pronounced deceased as a result of a gunshot wound to the head, according to the press release.
While officers were responding to the scene, they were notified that a second victim, a 28-year-old had arrived at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center via personal vehicle. That victim had been shot once and was lifeflighted to a metro Atlanta hospital.
