A man holding a gun demanded money from a woman before fleeing the scene at Tall Pines Apartments, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.

Per the release, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night as the woman was trying to leave her apartment. The woman told police that the man was a black male wearing a mask, a dark colored jacket and holding a pistol.

Further investigation revealed the man fled the scene emptyhanded and possibly left the area in a dark-colored sedan. The suspect has not been identified or apprehended.

According to LPD Sgt. Mark Cavender, the woman allowed the suspect to enter the apartment. She did not have any cash on her person or in the home, so the suspect left.
