Mr. Raymond Ellis Landreth, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 20, 2021. Mr. Landreth was born on July 31, 1928 in Lanett, Alabama to the late Ellis Brooks Landreth and Annie Mae Gilbert Landreth. In addition to his parents, Mr. Landreth was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Clements Landreth, his second wife, Mary Chaffin Landreth and his third wife, Norma Jean Landreth; brothers, Charles Landreth and Elbert Landreth; sister, Lula Mae Landreth; granddaughter, Ashley Scheiman.

Mr. Landreth proudly served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia, retiring from the Christian Church- Disciples of Christ.

Survivors include his sons, R. Ellis Landreth of Magnolia, Texas, Terry Landreth of Warner Robins, Georgia, Richard Landreth of Warner Robbins, Georgia, David Landreth of Topeka, Kansas and Joseph Landreth of Thomasville, Georgia; daughters, Evelyn Scheiman of Macon, Georgia and Virginia Waites of LaGrange, Georgia; brothers, Elbert Landreth of Niceville, Florida, Harrel Landreth of LaGrange, Georgia and Hugh Landreth of LaGrange, Georgia; grandchildren, Matthew Scheiman, Nicki Browning, Erik Scheiman, Destiny Sheiman, Brittany McConnell, Justin Scheiman, Bryan Landreth, Jason Landreth, Sara Landreth, Steven Landreth, Christina Chen, Kevin Landreth, Philip Landreth, Bridgette Hise, Daniel Landreth, Michael Landreth, Grace Waits, Ashley Scheiman, Connor Landreth, Shea Landreth and Owen Landreth; great grandchildren, Jocelyn Young, Carson Young, Abigail McConnell, Ethan Chen, Evan Chen, Lily Chen, Gabriel Landreth, Caleb Landreth and Freya Landreth; extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Jan. 30, 2021 at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama with Pastor David Cross officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
