It’s decision day.

Well, technically most of the decisions have already been made, but they will be finalized on Wednesday, which is national signing day.

Thousands of student-athletes from across the country, including more than 20 in Troup County, will sign their letters of intent during ceremonies on Wednesday as they make it official where they’ll be playing college football this fall.

First up will be Callaway’s signing day at 10 a.m., with a number of seniors who helped the team win a state championship signing their letters of intent.

LaGrange’s ceremony is at 10:30 a.m., with a handful of seniors who were a part of last year’s 8-4 team set to sign.

Troup High’s signees, who helped the team reach the state playoffs last season, will be recognized during a ceremony at 4 p.m.

One player, Troup’s Royce White, took advantage of the early signing period in December and signed his letter of intent with Memphis.
