The City of LaGrange Animal Services is offering half-price adoptions for the next two weeks, from Feb. 4-Feb. 19.

The special includes puppies and dogs only.

According to a city press release, the animal shelter is at capacity and has no open kennels for dogs.

“We have seen a steady stream of stray puppies and dogs being brought in to the shelter,” said LaGrange Animal Services Supervisor Chris Bussey, in the release.

“We’re hoping to be proactive to prevent being overwhelmed. Hopefully this adoption special will encourage people to open their homes to one or more of these loving animals.”

The animal shelter is located at 1390 Orchard Hill Road in LaGrange. Those interested can call to make an appointment at (706) 298-360.
