Mrs. Margie Ann Jones Robinson, 83, of LaGrange, passed away on Feb. 8, 2021, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Robinson was born on Aug. 5, 1937, in LaGrange, Georgia. She was preceded in death by fourteen days by her husband, Rev. Bobby Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Granger and Eva Mae Hendrix Granger and her daughter, Kimberly Jane Robinson Yarbrough.

Mrs. Margie faithfully served as a Pastor’s wife, supporting churches with her husband for over fifty-eight years. They served many churches throughout the south. Over thirty years of their ministry was here in LaGrange at Unity Baptist Church. In addition to caring for the needs of her family as a loving and faithful mother, she was a Registered Nurse.

Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Robinson Utley and her husband Mike and Susan Robinson Hornsby and her husband Mike; grandchildren and their families, Leslie Winter, Bobby G. Wells, Nicole DeMooney, Chris Hornsby, Lauren Ramey, Parks Yarbrough and T.J. Yarbrough; great grandchildren, Corbin Woodley, MacKenzie Winter, Sydnie Winter, Lacey Williams, Ben Williams, Bryson DeMooney, Saryn DeMooney, Maris Hornsby, Hendrix Hornsby and Tatum Ramey; honorary daughter, Kathy Hammock; extended family, church families and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at 4 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 506 Hill Street, LaGrange, Georgia, 30241 with Rev. Mike Hornsby and Mike Utley officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 3:30 at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be respected at all events.
