Mrs. Melba Jo Ussery, 67, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2021.

Melba was born April 14, 1953, in Carrollton, Georgia, daughter of the late Talmadge Thompson and Geneva Gibson Thompson.  She was employed with Interface before retiring.

Melba is survived by her husband, Doyle Ussery; children, Kathy Reynolds (Roy), Tammy Brown (Ryan), and Annie Ussery; grandchildren, Kaden Ussery, Sarah Brooks (Mitchell), Tabitha Reynolds, Kinsley Reynolds, and Brooklyn Brown; great-grandchildren, Roselee Brooks and Eli Brooks; sister, Ann Guerrero; brothers, Bussey Kiser and Donald Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life service was held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, Georgia with Dr. Mike Reeves officiating.  Burial followed in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
