Dear Editor,
On Sunday, April 11, I was in LaGrange shopping and on the way back to my car, I suddenly tripped and fell facedown in the parking lot, breaking my nose and badly bruising my eyes and face as well as other abrasions. I was bleeding profusely from my nose and could not get to my feet.
Several people rushed to help me with paper towels to staunch the blood and called an ambulance. These people, complete strangers, stayed with me and waited for the ambulance to arrive. I do not know their names, but I wish to thank them for their kindness and help for someone they never saw before and probably will never see again. When the firemen and AMR arrived, I cannot praise strongly enough to their efficiency and professionalism.
To all the people who helped me, I wish to say, thank you so much. Sometimes we forget how good people can be and it reaffirms my faith in people and how we need to not forget to help each other.
