Webb’s Heating and Air celebrates new location
For more than a decade, Webb’s Heating and Air has served the community but is still looking to grow.
Owner and founder Jack Webb recently moved the business on a main road and celebrated that with a ribbon cutting on Thursday with the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.
“The reason we joined the chamber is because we’re growing, and we want to get more involved with our community and other businesses,” Webb said. “We want to start doing more in LaGrange.
Before the move, they were located off of Whitesville Road behind other buildings, but now they sit right on Whitesville Road with more traffic and visibility.
“I got my start in heating and air 20 years ago,” Webb said. “I started from the bottom as a helper and looked up the guys that were crew leaders and service techs. I climbed those ranks, and I knew by the time I was about 23 that I wanted to own a company. It was my dream, and I made it happen.”
Webb added that he wanted to invest back into the community that he grew up in.
“I love where we are right now, but I hope to grow,” Webb said. “It has had its ups and its downs, but we get a lot of support from the community. I hope to continue with that.”
Webb said that they pride themselves in giving quality service while also providing affordable prices.
“We wanted to create a more affordable alternative compared to other competitors,” Webb said.
“We like to think we’re a middle ground company where we’re not the guy in the pickup truck, but we also aren’t the guys in the big rigs as well. We like to have something for everybody.”
Webb’s Heating and Air offers a plethora of different services including maintenance and commercial and residential heating and air.
“We do it all,” Webb said. “You get all the perks of a huge company when you hire us. You get the maintenance agreements, you get the office staff, you get the high-quality products and service but you do not get the big price that always follows.”
Webb said he hopes to one day pass the business down to his son.
