Rick Simmons runs a business for very specific types of industrialized works, but is more than ready to service the LaGrange area now that he has reopened his family’s business.
Simmons’ business, Yippee Machine and Fabricating, opened April 14, 13 years after Simmons’ father closed the doors in 2008.
Now, with a degree in mechanical engineering and business, as well as 30 years of experience in industrial engineering under his belt, Simmons has the tools to carry on his family’s business and keep it going strong.
Yippee Machine and Fabricating specializes in a variety of industrial work, including making fixtures, repairs or replacements and proto-types for industrialized parts for businesses big and small.
“As companies evolve, our services and capabilities will evolve as well,” said Simmons’ wife and business partner, Tonya Simmons.
Accidents don’t take the weekend off and neither does Yippee Machine and Fabricating Inc., as the business offers post-closing and weekend emergency repairs.
Simmons has on hand a variety of equipment to get just about any job done, including welding equipment and a state of the art CNC mill.
