A man has been arrested after allegedly burglarizing Taste of Lemon for a third time, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.
Laquince Towns, 42, was charged with burglary and giving a false statement after allegedly breaking into the restaurant, located at 204 Morgan Street, on Tuesday. Towns was already on felony probation after he was convicted of a burglary at Taste of Lemon in 2012. In 2019, he was charged with three counts of burglary at Taste of Lemon, and he’s still awaiting trial in the case. He is currently on probation for the 2012 case and on bond for the 2019 case, according to LPD.
LPD responded to the scene Sunday and through the investigation determined Towns to be the suspect, according to the press release.
On Thursday, a search of Towns’ residence was conducted and evidence linking him to this crime was located. He was then arrested.
