Ms. Thelma Elaine Boykin passed away Friday.

She was born June 3, 1946, in Antioch to Forrest and Amy Boykin.

Thelma united with Antioch Baptist Church, graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School, and retired from Kleen-Tex.

Survivors include her son, Gwardrain Chapez (LaShay) Sims; several grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters:  Evelyn Tucker, Trottwood, Ohio; Mavis Hill, Matteson, IL; Erma Joyce Cliff) Wright, Woodstock, Georgia; and Debra (Wardell) Brown, McDonough, Georgia; six nieces and nephews; two aunts and a host of cousins; a very special cousin/brother, Dr. W. T. Edmondson; a special cousin, Deborah Patridge Bray; and a host of friends.

The Family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson.

The excellent care of Ms. Boykin is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
