Third man arrested in CVS shooting

A third suspect has been arrested in relation to a recent murder that took place at CVS on Hogansville Road.

On Friday, July 30, at approximately 10 p.m. officers with the Greenville Police Department arrested Isaiah Jackson, 19, in Greenville, Georgia, during a traffic for outstanding arrest warrants for murder, aggravated assault, and robbery, according to a press release from LPD. Jackson was transported to the Troup County Jail following his arrest.

At the time of his arrest, Jackson was not on probation or parole, per the press release. No booking photo of Jackson available yet.   On Friday, July 23, at approximately 11 p.m., LPD responded to the CVS at 1597 Hogansville Road in reference to a person who had been shot at that location.  When officers arrived, Breylan Sellers, 35, was located laying on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and EMS provided medical care on scene. Sellers was subsequently transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. LPD arrested two additional men, Marquavious Kelley, 20, and Stanton Harris, 18, on Monday, July 26, in connection with the investigation.
