Everette Vernon Turner, 67, of LaGrange passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Turner was born April 9, 1954, in Daytona Beach, Florida, son of the late Leonard Turner and Dorothy Thompson Correll.  He attended Troup High School and was self-employed as an automobile paint and body specialist.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hanks.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Turner; brothers, Donell Turner (Susan Allen) and Ronnie Turner; sister, Debra Elkins; grandchildren, Hayden Browning and Hunter Browning; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating.  Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
