Horace Cofield, Jr. 66, of 118 Dix Street departed on Saturday at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Horace Cofield, Jr., the son of late Horace Sr. and Johnnie Cofield, was born in Warm Springs, Georgia.

He was a graduate of Manchester High School and retired from Carpet Tile.

Horace enjoyed his family, fishing, horseshoes and a good game of cards.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters Renata(Kelly) Cofield, LaQuanda Cofield and Latasha (Grady) Alford all of LaGrange. Sons Zachary Alford of LaGrange, Benjamin(Patricia)Alford of Lanett, Alabama, and Antonio Alford of Columbus, Georgia, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, five brothers, two sisters, special uncle and special aunts, nieces, nephews, special relatives and friend.

He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by one daughter Kameka Cofield, one grandson Elijah Burks and one brother Lonnie Mitchell.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in Southview Cemetery.

Chapel viewing will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
