A substitute teacher at Callaway High School was arrested Thursday for allegedly touching a female student in an inappropriate manner.
Christian Ogletree, 28, of LaGrange has been charged with a misdemeanor charge of improper sexual contact by an employee.
On Friday, Sept. 24, a deputy with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, who is assigned as the school resource officer at Callaway High School, was informed by school administration that a possible inappropriate relationship between a substitute teacher and a student at the school had occurred, according to a TCSO press release.
The incident was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division and the investigation determined that Ogletree did in fact touch a female student under his supervision in an intimate manner on at least one occasion.
