Mr. James Houston White, Sr. passed away Saturday.

He was born on April 8, 1958, in LaGrange, Georgia, to Bubba and Marlene Lewis White. He graduated from LaGrange High School, class of 1977, West Georgia Tech; and was employed by Seamco/Duracell for 42 years.

James united with Rising Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Mr. James Houston (Joanne) White, Jr.; daughters:  Ms. Erika White, Ms. MyKethia White, Mrs. Tiffany (Tevin) Harvey, and Miss Janna A. White; several grandchildren; sisters:  Deborah Jennings Patillo and Mary Jennings Patillo; brothers:  Buford (Mary Lou) Jennings, David (Nellie) Jennings, Jr., Robert E. Jennings; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; including special friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from  5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.

The Service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
